The NHPC also credentials programs offered by educational institutions and oversees the modality standards for our 65 modalities.

Paul has been working with the NHPC since December 2012, when he started as the Renewal Coordinator. In August 2012, he moved into his current position as Membership & Credentials Advisor.
Paul received a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Biology at the University of New Brunswick in 2008, then moved to Alberta at the end of that summer. He worked at Cameron Library, as well as the Biological Sciences and Earth and Atmospheric Sciences departments at the University of Alberta for a couple of years, and was enrolled in the Open Studies program in Atmospheric Science.
Paul enjoys running and playing tennis during the summer months. He has a passion for various genres of music, historical and current political science, but most importantly, anything weather-related.
Ying has been working with the Association since October 2012, when she started as an administrative assistant. In August 2013, she moved into her current position as Records Management Specialist.
Ying updates members' data and organizes school files. In addition, Ying also helps Mandarin-speaking members with translation when they cannot communicate with staff fluently.
Ying studied Accounting and Strategic Measurement at Grant MacEwan University. While studying, she volunteered to help low-income people doing their tax returns at Amity House, and also worked as sale associate at Hudson’s Bay Company.
Because of her Chinese cultural background, Ying has the passion for traditional Chinese health cultivation. She has learned different health cultivations from members all over the world during her work with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.
Ying is interested in tea culture and likes visiting tea stores in Edmonton to collect tea wares of different cultures. Bookstores are also Ying's favorite places to spend time with friends.
Brittany joined the NHPC as the New Membership Advisor in May 2013. She processes applications and answers queries regarding membership.
In 2013, Brittany graduated from the Library and Information Technology Program at Grant MacEwan University. As one would imagine, she loves books: old books, new books, picture books, really any sort of book.
Brittany has worked in fast-food, retail, and at a law firm. She has volunteered at a children's library, sat on a few youth committees, and currently teaches a weekly children's Sunday school class at her church. While not assisting members or future members, Brittany enjoys long boarding, reading (surprise!), walks in the river valley, and baking.
