Bob Cross
Senior Instructor
Palpation is a seminar designed to instruct the working massage therapist and health care professional in the finer points of palpation and to bring their palpatory skills to a higher level.
Advanced palpation skills will be taught to access more challenging structures. This course will include palpation of muscles, bony landmarks, ligaments and joints. You will learn how to assess the textural quality of muscles and how to feel for major pulses and the location of relevant nerves. There will be a thorough demonstration of the material and lots of time to practice palpation.
You will leave with more confidence in your technical knowledge which will transfer into a more skilled massage. This seminar is of particular importance to those who base their practice on regional therapeutic massage, however, all can benefit from supervised practice of this essential skill.
Bob is looking forward to working with you in this fun, hands on course!
