Credits

All NHPC Regular members are required to collect 20 Continued Competency Credits (CCCs) as follows:

• Minimum of 10 credits in your NHPC Recognized Modality(ies), or within your Recognized Modality Domain (see the Modality Domain Chart);
• Total of 5 credits must be obtained in all three areas (First Aid, CPR and Ethics), and;
• 5 credits to be obtained from any of the ways listed, in any continued education activity (see the Program Chart)

Your NHPC Recognized Modalities and Modality Domains

Your NHPC Recognized Modalities are listed on the insurance letter you receive from the Association with your annual renewal.

NHPC Recognized Modalities fall within a common grouping (domain), based on the primary mode of interaction with the client/patient. Find your NHPC Recognized Modality Domain in the Modality Domain Chart. You can draw from this pool to achieve your 10 credit minimum noted above.

10 of your continued competency credits need to be related to your NHPC Recognized Modalities or within your Recognized Modality Domains.
