Shingai joined the NHPC in June 2013 and is involved in planning NHPC events, organizing information related to events, and helping members with any inquiries relating to education and events.

Shingai holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Business Management and Economics. Before joining the NHPC, Shingai worked in Research and Policy development for the Government in Zimbabwe, as well as customer service in St Catharines, ON. Amberle Amberle Evans
Education & Events Coordinator

Amberle joined the NHPC in December 2013 as an Events and Education Coordinator. She is involved in the planning and execution of most NHPC events throughout Canada each year, including the Annual National Conference, National Workshop Series, and Connections Cafes. She also manages continuing education opportunities for the Centre For Learning and the NHPC Knowledge Centre.

Natural nutrition and lifestyle being her passion, Amberle attended Grant MacEwan University’s Holistic Health Practitioner program for a year before deciding to transfer to the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She graduated in October 2011 and has since been planning a personal online business as a nutritionist. The NHPC is a great fit for her as she is passionate about and educated in health and wellness, education, and putting on a good show! As a health and wellness practitioner herself, Amberle brings her knowledge and passion to the service of NHPC members.

When she isn’t working, Amberle is at home spending quality time with her husband and beautiful golden retriever Bentley, thinking of and eating delicious food, watching Downtown Abbey, involved in her church, planning out her home décor and organization, creating, exploring and spending time in the great outdoors.
