Links Policy

The Natural Health Practitioners of Canada Association (NHPCA) is the largest holistic health association across Canada, recognizing over 60 holistic health practices and representing over 6,500 practitioners.

Having a website Links Policy is a necessary step in ensuring public safety and in protecting the professional credibility of NHPCA members.

General

  • NHPCA reserves the right to reject or remove links to any website if the Association finds the site content inappropriate.
  • Links to websites outside the NHPCA website are provided for convenience and information only; we assume no responsibility for their content.
  • NHPCA reserves the right to refuse links.

Links to the NHPCA Website from NHPCA Member Sites

  • NHPCA members are encouraged to link their websites to the NHPCA website.
  • Links may not imply endorsement of those modalities, products, or services for which NHPCA has not recognized the member.
  • The NHPCA initials or logos cannot be used on promotional materials promoting members' practices and/or services that have not been recognized by the NHPCA, unless it is clearly indicated in the promotional materials which practices and/or modalities have been recognized by the NHPCA.

Links to Websites from NHPCA

NHPCA establishes links to other organizations that offer information, goods, or services that address the technical and/or professional interests of NHPCA members.

Such links are provided as a convenience to www.nhpcanada.org visitors and do not imply NHPCA's endorsement of the linked sites, the organizations operating such sites, or any products or services of those organizations.

NHPCA is not responsible for the contents of any linked site, any link contained in a linked site, or any changes or updates to the information contained in such sites. The privacy policies of linked sites may differ; you should check the privacy policy of linked sites before providing personal information.

NHPCA generally does not engage in reciprocal linking (i.e., trading links) and requests for reciprocal linking will be ignored. If you would like to request a link to your site from NHPCA, please review our existing links and provide an explanation of how your site is consistent with the existing links and why it should be added.

Objections to any links on the NHPCA website are to be directed to communications@nhpcanada.org.

Links to the NHPCA Website from Non-member Sites

NHPCA welcomes links from websites of other related organizations with the following conditions:

  • Links to the NHPCA home page may not be included on the home page of any non-NHPCA website without written permission from NHPC
  • Links may not imply any NHPCA endorsement or sponsorship of the entity providing the link or any of the entity's products or services
  • Links must be in a clearly identified "links" area of the non-NHPCA website (where other organizations' websites are also linked)
  • Links to publicly available content on the NHPCA website are acceptable without notification to NHPCA
  • Links to any NHPCA content may not be used to imply NHPCA endorsement or sponsorship of the entity providing the link or any of the entity's products or services
