In this 1-hour webinar participants will take part in a brief review of Ethics Level I.
Participants will then explore ethics through the use of scenarios:
• What is professional judgment?
• What are professional boundaries?
• What does it mean to be professionally competent?
• How the NHPCA Code of Ethics supports our practice.
As well, participants will discuss using our ethical sense, the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and working within our scope of practice.
Cancellation Policy for all Webinars
A cancellation fee of $25.00 will apply to any cancelled webinar registrations. All webinar registration cancellations must be submitted in writing to education@nhpcanada.org. Please note cancellations postmarked 2 weeks prior to webinar dates and 'no shows' are not eligible for refund or credit.
Instructor
Cathy has a Masters degree in Conflict Analysis & Conflict Resolution from Antioch University in Ohio and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing with distinction from the University of Alberta. She has had her own professional practice in conflict management since 1994 with a focus on teaching, mediation and consulting to groups and organizations.

what happens if we have computer problems and can't log in as required…do we lose money and/or have to pay a cancellation fee?
I am in BC so I assume the webinar time is 2-3 pm. Please confirm.

You are correct, the webinar will be held from 2-3pm B.C. time. You will receive a Certificate of Completion for attending but there is no test that accompanies the webinar.
The webinar system is quite straight forward; however, should you have any problems we will make every effort to assist you in gaining access to the webinar. In fact, all registrants are asked to test their connection at least 48 hours prior to the start of the webinar to ensure we have enough time to work out any kinks.
