*Prerequisite - 2 Day MLD Program*

If you have completed the two day Intro to MLD with Michelle Vassallo and would like to make your qualification official then this one day workshop is for you. Each participant will get to practice and experience two full MLD sessions each.

After each session there is approximately half an hour of class discussion where students share with each other the practical application, high lights and pitfalls, and how to deal with these situations when delivering the treatment in outside practices.

Students will also review the most prominent pathologies that massage therapists are likely to come across and shown exactly how to use Manual Lymph Drainage to deal with these.

DISCLAIMER: At the end of this MLD session, students will be asked to complete 10 practicum hours of MLD treatments. After completion, participants will be eligible to receive NHPC recognized certification.

A cancellation fee of $50.00 will apply to any cancelled workshop registrations. All workshop registration cancellations must be submitted in writing to Jamal Gabriel at jgabriel@nhpcanada.org. Please note: cancellations postmarked 2 weeks prior to workshop dates and 'no shows' are not eligible for refund or credit.

Instructor

Speaker Michelle Vassallo is the director of Rhythm Massage Development in Melbourne Australia. She is a practicing remedial massage therapist and teacher of various remedial massage subjects, specializing in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Among her accomplishments, Michelle has worked with elite sporting clubs and hospitals in Australia, training their health professionals in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
