Specialized Emergency First Aid and CPR

Details

Certification in CPR & First Aid for your NHPC Continued Competency Credit requirement. NHPC is hosting two workshops and introducing Specialized Emergency Training Inc. who will provide training designed to meet the unique needs of practitioners.

Class size is limited to a maximum 18 participants.

Instructor


Presenter Morgan Douziech is a First-aid and CPR instructor with the Canadian Red Cross and the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. Morgan has been practising as an EMT-A (Emergency Medical Technician) throughout Alberta and continues to serve the Emergency Services community.

Morgan has over 5 years experience in the private security field. His passion for giving back to the community comes through as an active volunteer coordinator with the Edmonton Folk Music Festival, and through his corporate support of numerous charities. As an avid traveller and emergency practitioner, he has had the opportunity to see first hand the benefits of proper emergency training.

Presenter Justin Douziech is a Basic Life Support Instructor with the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, as well the Program Leader for Specialized Emergency Training's Defensive Tactics division.

Justin has an accomplished history in Emergency Services as a four year Police Constable with the Edmonton Police Service and is currently a proud member of the Edmonton Fire Department. As a Police and Security Major through Grant MacEwan and Emergency Medical Responder, Justin continues to serve the City of Edmonton.

0 # Erica Jones 2010-09-08 02:34 You certianly can. You can call Kim O'Donnell at the NHPC office 1-888-711-7701 and she can register you over the phone. She will wait for your cheque or money order to complete the registration.

Alternately, there is a brochure coming in the mail to all NHPC members, it should be in your mail box in the near future. You can fill out the registration page and send it in along with your cheque or money order to the NHPC office.

Above you will note a section titles "Online Registration". It states below the price, the number of spaces avaiable and a tick box that says "I wish to attend this event".
