This interactive lecture describes the most recent findings in the rapidly developing field of fascia research. Particular emphasis is given
to those aspects that offer new insights and perspectives for massage therapists. These will include:

• How fibroblasts respond to manual treatment protocols
• Fascial fitness
• Fascial tonus regulation & Autonomic Nervous System
• Measuring fascial stiffness
• Delayed Onset Soreness & Fascia
• Fascial adhesions
• Matrix hydration & tissue stiffness

Please note: cancellations postmarked 2 weeks prior to workshop dates and 'no shows' are not eligible for refund or credit.

Instructor

Dr. Robert Schleip PhD MA HP, is the Director, Fascia Research Group Division of Neurophysiology at Ulm University in Germany. He was instrumental in the development of the First International Fascia Research Congress held at the Harvard Medical School in 2007, a Rolfing Instructor, certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, and has been teaching anatomy since 1985.
