Massage Therapy
We developed the NHPC Standards of Practice for Massage Therapy (PDF) based on the current national standards in massage therapy education. These are defined in the Inter-Jurisdictional Practice Competencies and Performance Indicators for Massage Therapists at Entry-to-Practice (FOMTRAC 2016).
Reflexology
We developed the NHPC Standards of Practice for Reflexology (PDF) based on the NHPC Modality Standards for Reflexology and the UK Skills for Health Competency Standards for Reflexology.
We also considered the reflexology standards of other organizations, such as the Atlantic Canada Association of Reflexology Therapists (ACART), Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC), and Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario (RRCO).
Practice Advisories
We release practice advisories to clarify expectations, address emerging issues, and guide members in applying best practices and industry standards in their practice.
