This Alberta Advanced Education diploma program allows practitioners to expand the services offered to clients/patients in their existing practice. The practitioner-in-training will be able to assess and address complex conditions of somatic and visceral origin solely through a hands-on approach. Training includes osteoarticular techniques, myofascial release, visceral manipulation, manual lymph drainage, cranial osteopathy and research methods. It also provides opportunities to review patient-centered care, history taking, communication skills, epidemiology, record-keeping and data management skills.
