The Orthopaedic Approach for Massage Therapists: The Shoulder region

The Orthopaedic Approach, created by Dr. Lanre Salami, is a complimentary approach to orthopedic massage involving comprehensive, easy to follow orthopedic assessment, orthopedic massage, and treatment planning. No other courses offer you the skills to identify muscular dysfunction with confidence, and perform cross fiber frictions with such accuracy!

This module will help you to answer important questions when treating the shoulder, such as: How do I produce reliable results when treating rotator cuff injuries? How do I manage a client with FROZEN SHOULDER? My client cannot sleep on their shoulder, what does that mean?

Using orthopedic assessment protocols and cross fiber frictions you will be able to identify and manage the following conditions upon completing this course:

Rotator cuff tendonitis

Adhesive capsulitis

Traumatic arthritis

Bursitis

AC joint dysfunction

Other muscular dysfunctions of the shoulder
