The Manupractic Institute will be offering a two day workshop in
Hawaiian Temple Style Lomi Lomi massage in Winnipeg, MB July 6 and 7, 2019. NHPC members have a $100 discount on all course modules with the Manupractic Institute through the NHPC business discount program. Regular price is $400 plus gst, with the discount, it is $300 plus gst.
The Manupractic Institute teaches Temple Style Lomi Lomi massage also
known as Lomi Lomi Nui. Temple Style Lomi Lomi was developed by
Hawaiian Elder and Kahuna Abraham Kawai’i from the island of Kauai.
Temple Style Lomi Lomi incorporates smooth, broad strokes of the forearms,
providing long, continuous, soothing and flowing strokes from head to toe,
from the left side of the body to the right side like waves washing over you.
Unique to Temple Style Lomi Lomi massage is its under body and full body
strokes. Temple style Lomi Lomi is one of the most practiced styles of lomi
lomi through-out the world.
The Temple Style Lomi Lomi training is taught in 2 modules of 2 days each.
Module 1 focuses on techniques done in prone position and module 2
focuses on techniques done in supine position.
The techniques taught in these two workshops will be a unique and useful
addition to your practice. The courses are $400 plus $20 gst each. Lomi
Lomi Massage is an approved modality by the Natural Health Practitioners of
Canada and is eligible for continuing education credits for their membership
(10 credits for each 2 day workshop).The instructor, Lincoln Lau, is a
Certified Lomi Lomi Massage Practitioner and completed his training at the
Shamanic Bodywork School. The courses are:
