ACADEMIC PROGRAM First two years specializes in neuromusculoskeletal dysfunctions. (1500 hrs) Third, Fourth and Fifth years: specializes in the study of clinical practice and research of Osteopathic Methodology. It includes analytical study of Osteopathic visceral techniques leading to the award of a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Therapy (2850hrs) CIOT offers osteopathic training for health care professionals with a four-year health related degree such as physiotherapists, kinesiologists and nurses. It also conducts a pre-course evaluation and examination for registered massage therapists with 2200 hrs or more certification. CIOT aims to prepare students for their future as osteopathic therapists through developing their skills and aiding them in the acquisition of knowledge, both theoretical and practical, together with providing close contact with other fellow professionals.
