Workshop Description

Join Danielle, ERYT500, RMT, and Rolfer, for a weekend of learning about client and self care.

On the first day, participants would learn about the biomechanics of their spine, practise anatomical landmarks, and explore how and why to use soft posture-alignment props. Participants will look at common postural issues and unpack different ways of releasing tension and optimizing movement in our spine and girdles.

On the second day, participants will build on the skills learned in Level One and practise teaching the basic techniques to their clients as a self care routine that can be used in between client appointments.

The workshop will focus on how to assess postural strain patterns in clients, how to apply manual therapy while clients lie on soft posture-alignment props, and provide sustainable at-home practices to optimize clients' massage treatments. Learn how to help your clients help themselves with these practical, easy posture-alignment techniques.

Date: September 19 to 20, 2020

Time: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Cost: $450 plus GST (for 2 days)
