IAIM Infant Massage Instructor's Certification Training
August 20-23, 2020, Pre-registration by July 30, 2020.
Lacombe, Alberta Canada
Infant Massage is a traditional parenting practice in India and many other parts of the world, where generations of mothers have offered this nurturing touch to their babies. It provides a loving connection between parent and baby starting early in life, supporting and strengthening this attachment as baby grows.
Today, countless research conducted worldwide, supports the benefits of Infant Massage with impressive results. Babies are better able to relax and sleep, calm themselves more readily, and thrive on many measures. Neuroscience and psychology researchers are unanimous about the necessity of deliberate, appropriate touch for babies.
This 4 day intensive training session is designed for nurses, physiotherapists, massage therapists, child care educators, dedicated parents or anyone who shows the aptitude and willingness to promote infant massage.
Once the take home assignment and practice teaching are completed, the participant will become a qualified infant massage instructor, enabling them to conduct classes for parents teaching how to massage their babies.
