As a cranial nerve that forms the information pathway between the heart and brain and the gut and brain, the vagus nerve has been getting increasing attention recently.
To celebrate International Reflexology Week, this one-hour webinar will explore what makes reflexology unique: relieving stress and facilitating the relaxation response. The vagus nerve is at the centre of this response.
You will learn how reflexology therapy can facilitate vagus tone. This includes:
Lesley is the founder of the Therapeutic Reflexology Institute, offering a Foot and Hand Reflexology Certification program in Edmonton and Winnipeg and continuing education workshops. She has a passion for teaching and is an engaging presenter.
Lesley studied in South Africa, obtaining a BSc. degree, a Certificate with the International Institute of Reflexology, and a Diploma in Therapeutic Reflexology with the Complementary Health Centre in Johannesburg. Lesley has been a practising Therapeutic Reflexologist for 16 years and is presently based in St. Albert, AB.
