Description

COVID-19 presents unprecedented challenges to the massage therapy profession, including how to make safe, effective, evidence-informed decisions about working with clients who have recovered from this infection.

This engaging webinar will focus on what is currently understood about COVID-19, the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. Along with pathophysiology, you will learn about communicability, viral variants, and the many complications of this infection, including long COVID: a new health challenge that many people will face.

You will also have the opportunity to discuss possible risks and benefits related to massage for clients who have had this infection, along with screening suggestions and guidelines for safety.

Participants who complete this webinar will be able to provide safe, effective, evidence-informed massage therapy to clients who have had COVID-19.
