Workshop Description

This online workshop provides a brief overview of what Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is and what NMT work on upper back, shoulder girdle, upper arm and chest entails, including a demonstration of the protocol.

These concepts are covered in more detail in a longer two-day certification course, which is offered in-person only. By taking this introductory online workshop, you will have a better idea of what the two-day certification course will include.

About The Presenter

Lincoln Lau began his career in the health care field when he graduated in 1995 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver, BC. Lincoln is also a graduate of Brandon University in Brandon, MB, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. 

He completed the Structural Integration training at the Northwest Center for Structural Integration in Portland, OR. He is also certified in Esalen massage, having completed the certification program at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA. 

Lincoln took his Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage training at the Shamanic Bodywork School in Vancouver, BC, and did his Traditional Thai Massage training with Jasmine Mah at the Organic Therapy Clinic in Winnipeg, MB. 

Lincoln is the developer of Manupractic massage.


Course is open to massage therapists.

This online workshop series would be presented through Zoom webinar software, which lets you participate in this partnered workshop, from your own home, office, or wherever you choose to connect. 

Please note the process:

Step 1: Reserve a spot by registering through the NHPC website in advance (using the "Register for the Event" button above).
Step 2: One week prior to the event, you will be contacted by the instructor directly and receive an email with information on how to register directly with Zoom.
