It is based on traditional and time honored healing principles from the East, and modern anatomy and physiology theory. Shiatsu consists of specific pressure and stretches applied to the body in order to assess and treat various conditions. Shiatsu treatments have a regulatory influence on the autonomic nervous system, thereby improving organ function and reducing muscle tension. This deep but gentle approach to preventative health care has many long term benefits for people of all ages.

Distance Training, Self Paced with In-Person Practical and Exam

In-Person Practical and Exam Dates

- Semester 1: January 23rd & 24th, 2027 | 9-5pm (both days)

- Semester 2: April 17th & 18th, 2027| 9-5pm (both days)

- Written Exam: May 29th, 2027 | 9-5pm

This is a home study course with 2 weekends of practical work and written/practical exam, 70% or greater is required.

Upon successful completion of Zen/TCM Shiatsu 1000 hour Program, you will recieve a Zen Shiatsu Therapist Certification deploma from The Shiatsu Association of Western Canada. Recognized by Shaitsu Association of British Columbia.
