Level 2: Intermediate Thai Massage builds on the traditional foundation established in Level 1 by teaching students authentic Thai massage in the side-lying, prone, and sitting positions. Rooted in Traditional Thai Medicine, this course deepens students’ understanding of Thai massage as a complete healing practice while expanding their hands-on skills beyond the supine position.

Students learn Thai massage acupressure points, assisted stretches, and smooth transitions using hands, knees, feet, and elbows while developing confidence in additional treatment positions. By the end of the training, students will be able to perform a complete 120-minute Traditional Thai Massage using all four positions.

A key strength of this program is its comprehensive curriculum. In addition to learning the full intermediate sequence, students study professional pathways in Thai massage, the five layers of the body, intake forms and SOAP notes, and cultural appropriation concerns related to Thai massage. The course is designed to offer more than technique alone by giving students the broader context needed to practise with greater skill, respect, and authenticity.

This 30-hour course requires Level 1: Thai Massage Foundations as a prerequisite and is capped at 8 students to ensure intimate, personalized instruction. Training includes hands-on practice, lifetime online access, a printed handbook, and the opportunity to work with client volunteers before the final practical exam. Graduates receive 15 NHPC CECs. The cost is $600 plus GST and includes lifetime online access, a printed handbook, a school T-shirt, and a certificate.
