This course will begin with a half-hour of Wai Kru and Reusi Dat Ton each day. The first four days will then follow with a short lecture. Course content on day one will be an overview of Thai massage, including the variety of styles, what makes Thai massage unique and the origin of this ancient massage. On day two, we examine the divisions and branches of Traditional Thai Medicine and talk about Western interest's effect in recent decades. We will review the contraindications and cautionary sites associated with Thai massage on day three. And on day four, we will explore the Practitioner Code of Ethics that the Thai Healing Alliance International expects of all Thai massage practitioners. There will be a short quiz for each section that the instructor will review the next day before the subsequent lecture.

On the afternoon of the fourth day, guest volunteers will come to the school act as clients for each student. Students will practice giving and reviewing intake forms with their clients. The instructor will then lead the students through the entire sequence, after which each student will practice a follow-up with their client.

The final day will have two periods of practical examination; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. In the morning, Group A will do their practical exam using Group B as clients, and in the afternoon, Group B will do their exam using Group A as clients. The week will end with a short closing program during which students will receive their certificates.
