You’ve learned anatomy. You’ve learned assessment. You’ve learned how to treat. So what if you could take everything you already know and add temperature to the mix?
From the continuing education courses we’ve taken, honestly, we always felt there was so much more that could be taught. We wanted to understand what was actually happening in the body, how to use temperature with intention, and how to bring it into the treatments we were already doing.
So we built the course we wish we’d taken.
Between Sarah’s 25 years as a massage therapist, with background in somatic therapy and nervous system physiology, combined with the hands-on experience and perspective of Nichole’s 8 years specializing with hot and cold stone therapy, we’ve put together something we’re genuinely excited to teach.
We’re going to get into the good stuff. How hot and cold affect muscles, movement, tension, guarding, and the body’s overall responses. What happens when you’re working with one stubborn muscle versus the whole system? What changes when you add heat? What about cold? And how do you know which one to reach for?
We’ll get our hands on the stones, experiment, ask questions, and probably get a little nerdy about anatomy along the way.
The whole idea is that you can take what you’ve learned and start slipping it into your everyday massages. A little here, a little there, wherever it makes sense. No need to turn every appointment into a full hot stone treatment, but the knowledge and access to another tool will be there.
We want you leaving this course with more options, better clinical reasoning and the confidence to make those decisions your own.
Because ultimately, that’s what continuing education should do. Make you a better therapist.
