The form of Thai Yoga Massage technique taught in this course uses no oils and is performed on a padded floor mat. The practitioner uses many positions to apply pressure with feet, elbows, forearms and hands while kneeling, standing or sitting. It incorporates gentle rocking, deep stretching and rhythmic compression to create a truly unique and therapeutic massage experience for the recipient.

Who this course is for: Many techniques learned in the program can also be applied to a Massage Table. This course is perfect for Massage Therapists, Yoga & Pilates Instructors, Personal Trainers and any Holistic-based Practitioner who wishes to offer their clients some elements of stretching, energy work and Thai Massage.

  • Learn a total of 68-Thai Yoga Massage sequences for the entire body with the recipient in the Supine and Seated Positions, from feet up to the head.
  • Apply Thai Yoga Massage using the feet, elbows, forearms and palms to target legs, feet, hips and back to create a dynamic and unique repertoire for your clients.
  • Learn the history, rules, methods, benefits, directions and abbreviations of Thai Yoga Massage.
  • The use of acupressure, reflexology and compressions will be applied on the 'Sen Energy Lines' of the legs and arms to initiate the movement of internal energy in the body. The Sen Lines are similar to those found in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
  • Learn how to apply many Thai Yoga stretches for legs, hips, spine, chest, arms, shoulders, plus assisted inversion stretches such as 'Shoulder Stand', 'Plow', 'Frog' and 'Happy Baby'.
  • There is a lot of excellent material in this course and would be sufficient to offer up to a 2-hour massage, however, students will be able to pick and choose and customize treatments to suit the needs of the client.
  • The Thai Yoga Massage sequences are presented in the Workbook, so as to create a lovely flow of work, similar to a 'Massage Dance'. Each sequence is broken down into picture diagrams.
  • After the course, each student will receive a Zoom recording of the training event that will be accesible for 90-days on demand.
