In this two day (14 hour) workshop, students will learn how to actively and gently decompress

fascial restrictions. This workshop builds on Denny’s other workshop by teaching therapists

how to engage fascia while the client actively helps to release overly restricted fascia. The

workshop teaches all new techniques that are not taught in his Fascial Decompression

Workshop. The techniques work great for clients who find other active release techniques too

painful. Denny’s Fascial Decompression Workshop is a prerequisite to this Active Fascial

Decompression Workshop.

This workshop is designed for massage therapists and other practitioners with hands-on

rehabilitative certifications or degrees. A basic understanding of anatomy and physiology is

essential in order to expand myofascial release knowledge and tactile ability.

About the instructor: Denny Paccagnan, RMT has 30 000 hours of hands-on clinical hours

and has been teaching this workshop since 2010. He has worked alongside numerous

chiropractors, specialized physiotherapists and acupuncturists. He has certifications in

myofascial release since 1997, full certifications in Structural Myofascial Release (2004),

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (2002), and Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy (2011). His style is

influenced by general fascial practitioners like John Barnes, structural therapists like Thomas

Myers, Gil Hedley, and Barry Jenings, as well as Biodynamic Cranial Sacral practitioners Ged

Sumners and Michael Shea; all of whom inform the basis of Denny’s teachings.

About the Teaching Assistant: Sonia Brown, RMT trained in British Columbia in the 3000 hour

programme. Sonia also has many years of training and experience in Myofascial Release

Therapy.
