Beginner's Foot Reflexology Course
Learn the foundations of therapeutic foot reflexology in this comprehensive, hands-on two-day training, in Kamloops, BC.
This course introduces students to Grid Style Reflexology, a structured method commonly practised throughout North America. Students learn the theory, practical techniques, treatment flow, and professional considerations needed to confidently perform a complete foot reflexology session.
This course is suitable for those who want to:
- Learn reflexology for personal use with family and friends
- Add foot reflexology to an existing wellness or holistic practice
- Begin offering reflexology professionally
- Build confidence performing a complete 60-minute treatment
- Continue their education toward advanced reflexology training and professional registration
What You’ll Learn
By the end of the course, students will have learned:
- How to perform a complete 60-minute foot reflexology session
- How to read and understand reflexology foot maps
- The history and principles of reflexology
- Client intake and basic foot observations
- Benefits, contraindications, and client safety considerations
- Professional standards of care and hygiene
- Equipment requirements and the natural flow of a full treatment
Following the in-class training, students pursuing the professional training pathway complete a 25-treatment practicum and assigned workbook exercises. This practicum is designed to strengthen technique, build confidence, and integrate the skills learned during the course.
NHPC-Recognized Training
This course is recognized by the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) for modality addition for eligible members with appropriate background training.
Successful completion is eligible for 15 NHPC Continuing Competency Credits.
Students who wish to continue their professional training can progress to PetalRoot’s Advanced Foot Reflexology Course.
