Adding Somatic education to your repertoire will enhance your career and life in many ways. Learn safe & gentle self care exercises and learn to teach them to others. These exercises can reverse chronic pain, improve posture and reset the resting level of muscles. Helping you to regain brain level control of your muscles & movement. It is the only method of pain relief and motor sensory training that targets the condition of SENSORY MOTOR AMNESIA (SMA).

This program is based on the principles & theories of Thomas Hanna, and has been designed to work for whichever profession you are currently teaching or practicing.  Highly motivated individuals will learn how to incorporate these exercise into their current practice or teachings, and how to use these ground breaking exercises to ensure their own longevity in their chosen career.

“Nikki has more than 25 years teaching experience as a successful dance teacher and studio owner. Her personal injury and chronic pain has made her a very empathetic and personally knowledgeable teacher of Somatics. Her over 40 years of the study in the field of dance has given her valuable knowledge about the body and movement. She is outgoing, warm, and approachable, which makes everyone around her feel comfortable. Our students and teachers love the energy she brings with her as well as her personal knowledge and teaching skills.

I highly recommend Nikki as an instructor. The program she has created -Somatic Exercise Teacher Training- is an excellent course. It is put together well and it will ensure that those taking it will be gifted with the ability to not only teach the exercises to others, but they will be able to use the somatic exercises for their own personal practice. I give her my highest recommendation.” Eleanor Criswell Hanna, Ed.D. Director Novato Institute for Somatic Research and Training
