This course will discuss the cultural relevance and history of IASTM techniques, the similarities and differences between Gua sha, IASTM and Graston Technique and the benefits of each. You will be shown all of the different tools that can be used to perform these techniques, and where each tool is used to the greatest benefit.
Included in the course are full body, head, face and neck techniques, pdf notes and video demonstrations in a study at your own pace online format.
Your instructor, Lisa Dowling is a Registered Acupuncturist and Shiatsu Therapist as well as Movement therapist, and manual osteopathic practitioner from Ontario Canada. Lisa has been teaching adjunctive therapies at Colleges in Ontario since 2008, and has been creting her own course content since 2015.
