Zen Shiatsu/ TCM Acupressure 300-hour 1st year certification

This certification is a unique combination of Zen Shiatsu, based on traditional Japanese massage therapy and TCM Acupressure, an ancient form of massage that encourages the movement of qi ("life energy") through the 14 channels (meridians) inside the body. Shiatsu works with the body's energy flow, known as Ki or Qi (pronounced chee). It uses acupressure to release tension and bring balance to the body. It can help to lift your mood and make you feel relaxed. Moreover, shiatsu massage therapy is a great passive stretching of the whole body, it energizes the whole system, stimulates blood circulation, and helps the body to eliminate toxins working closely with the nervous system.

Shiatsu/ Acupressure techniques include pressure point work with fingers, thumbs, feet and palms; acupressure, assisted stretching; and joint manipulation and mobilization.
