In this two day, in-class (14 hour) workshop, students will improve their fascial palpation skills in order to feel fascial restrictions to gently decompress them. Students will also acquire knowledge about the nervous system and its affect on connective tissue and its influence on patient health. The students will gain confidence on how to treat specific injuries and postural imbalances in a way that utilizes less pressure and develop tactile skills to address fascial health concerns. In essence, this course will empower students to become better at decompressing fascial restrictions via theory and practical technique applications. The techniques taught are gentle for both the patient and the therapist and are fantastic for both structural therapists and those who wish to practice a softer therapeutic approach. Even through the techniques are gentle, students will learn how to work at a very deep level without discomfort to the client.
