This program includes the history of aromatherapy, anatomy and physiology, pathologies, organic chemistry, safety, Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI), sustainability and conservation, botany, extraction methods, 97 essential oil monographs, 26 carrier oils, 18 miscellaneous carriers, 18 hydrosols taught by Madeleine Kerkhof, 27 CO2 extracts taught by Ann Harman, passages - birth to passing, Applied Aromatherapy, Pharmacokinetics, Transdermal/Dermal application. Inhalation, Application, Dilution,Dosage/Duration/Pre-diluted/Calculations, Consultation Skills and Therapeutic Relationship, Role of Olfaction, Role of olfaction on human psychology, the Olfactory system, Olfactory system disorders, Ethics, Business Skills and Marketing, Business Plan, Branding, Research, Research paper, writing and publishing research plus a choice of one of five 50–60 hour electives 1. Animal Aromatherapy 2. Herbalism, 3. Aromatherapy in Palliative Care, 4. Natural Skin Care Formulation, 5, Teacher Training.
