Advertising Frequently Asked Questions

Please check below for answers to common questions from advertisers. 

To optimize the visibility and web presence of your ad, NHPC offers advertisers these features: 

  • searchable features that make it easy for your audience to find your posting
  • free logo/image placement with your ad
  • promotion of jobs and courses in the NHPC newsletter, emailed to 6,000 members twice a month
  • links on the account dashboards of members in the same city as your job posting or course listing
  • larger and more prominent display ads on the NHPC website

Course/event listings or job postings will be listed on the NHPC website, which has access to an average of 6,000 users and over 54,000 NHPC website page views per month.

It takes up to two business days for job postings and course listings to appear on the website. 

Make sure that the image files  you upload are PNG or JPG format. Images must not be more than 160px wide and 160 px high. 

The NHPC website does not have the functionality to embed videos in advertisements. However, you may include a link to a video on YouTube or another external website within your job posting or course listing.

The NHPC does not offer graphic design services. However, there are free image editors available online such as:




The NHPC does not post ads on behalf of advertisers. Our advertising system allows you to post your own ads by completing a course listing or job posting advertising form. 

The NHPC does not edit ads once they have been posted. Please check your advertisement content over carefully to ensure it is correct before submitting it.

If you have made an error, you will have to recreate the ad as a new placement.
