Job Summary
As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) at Gold Pro Massage & Wellness Studio, you will provide high-quality, client-focused massage therapy services tailored to individual therapeutic goals. You will assess client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver exceptional care aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, promoting relaxation, and enhancing overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum commitment of 3 shifts per week
- Availability for 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM shifts
- Shifts available Monday to Friday, as well as weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- Conduct thorough client assessments and health histories
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including:
- Relaxation
- Deep Tissue
- TMJ
- Lymphatic Drainage
- Prenatal
- Infant/Child
- Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) Massage
- Sports
- Therapeutic Massage
- Thai Massage, Hot Stone, and Cupping are considered strong assets
- Educate clients on self-care, stretching, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records (SOAP notes)
- Maintain a clean, professional, and hygienic treatment environment
- Collaborate with team members and other healthcare professionals when appropriate
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
Qualifications
- Current registration and license as a Registered Massage Therapist (2200+ hours)
- Valid First Aid certification
- Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques and modalities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
