Practitioners will learn how to provide children, youth, and teens with safe, effective, and age-appropriate massage treatments. This course covers children age 5 and older. It is not an infant massage course.
There's a lot to know when it comes to treating pediatric clients. This workshop provides thorough learning on the subject, leaving participants confident working with children.

About the Presenter
Kelly Cabrera believes in self improvement, leadership, and growth. Throughout her 15 years as a registered massage therapist, clinic owner, and massage mentor, she continuously advanced her massage and business skills.
After earning a diploma in Massage Therapy with honours from Lethbridge College in 2010, Kelly now practises a variety of modalities with multiple massage technique certifications.
Her interest in becoming an educator was sparked when she assisted with the practicum program at Lethbridge College from 2015 to 2016. Kelly went on to open Breakthrough Massage Academy to provide unique, accessible, and engaging continuing education courses to therapists.
What shapes Kelly is her drive to always learn more, develop her skills, and pass them on to the next generation of massage therapists so that they can have long and thriving careers.
Pre-requisite
None — therapists with student, active, and inactive statuses are welcome to the workshop.

Cancellation Policy
Registrants are eligible for an 80% refund if they withdraw from the class at least two weeks before the start of the course.
Refund requests made less than two weeks before the course start date are not eligible for a refund.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to events@nhpcanada.org. Processing times may vary, and refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
