Does marketing feel like a mountain you just don't want to climb? This online workshop introduces students to direct and indirect marketing methods that aren't fake or pushy. 

Therapist personality and business style can (and should) shape marketing. The workshop will teach you:

• why most marketing advice fails in the massage therapy industry
• four marketing personality types
• how to choose the right marketing options for yourself

Students will get a Marketing Pathway Worksheet that helps create a simple, personalized plan without guesswork, a big budget, or being overwhelming. 

About the Presenter

Kelly Cabrera believes in self improvement, leadership, and growth. Throughout her 15 years as a registered massage therapist, clinic owner, and massage mentor, she continuously advanced her massage and business skills.

After earning a diploma in Massage Therapy with honours from Lethbridge College in 2010, Kelly now practises a variety of modalities with multiple massage technique certifications.

Her interest in becoming an educator was sparked when she assisted with the practicum program at Lethbridge College from 2015 to 2016. Kelly went on to open Breakthrough Massage Academy to provide unique, accessible, and engaging continuing education courses to therapists.

What shapes Kelly is her drive to always learn more, develop her skills, and pass them on to the next generation of massage therapists so that they can have long and thriving careers.

Pre-requisite

None - therapists with student, active, and inactive statuses are welcome to the Workshop. 

Items Required

You must have a device with camera (smartphone, laptop, tablet, etc.) through which you can access Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to students prior to class.

It is recommended that you have a way to take notes.

Step 1: Reserve a spot by registering through the NHPC website in advance.
Step 2: Prior to class, a zoom link will be sent to all registered students.

Cancellation Policy

Registrants are eligible for an 80% refund if they withdraw from the class at least two weeks before the start of the course.

Refund requests made less than two weeks before the course start date are not eligible for a refund.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to events@nhpcanada.org. Processing times may vary, and refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
