Grey literature is freely available and easy to access. It can be a valuable source of background information and provide a solid understanding of a topic, particularly for modalities for which there is limited research.

About the Presenter
Leisa Bellmore, M.Sc., ST, is a shiatsu therapist, lecturer, and researcher who been practicing Namikoshi shiatsu since 2001. She has presented and published internationally, and she is a Past President of the NHPC.
Leisa has been part of the integrative team at University Health Network's Artists' Health Centre since 2010, and she currently volunteers with the Shiatsu Research Network. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the INCAM (Interdisciplinary Network for Complementary and Alternative Medicine) Research Network.
With an M.Sc. in Advanced Complementary Medicine Research and Practice, Leisa's goal is to grow the evidence base for shiatsu and to encourage holistic health practitioners to become engaged in research.
