The Healing Connection Between the Energy Body and the Physical Body (Two Days)

This workshop welcomes both beginners and experienced practitioners. Participants learn theory and related bodywork that can readily be incorporated into their current practice, regardless of primary modality.
The workshop will include a slide presentation, followed by demonstrations of practical bodywork and the opportunity to ask questions on both theory and practical aspects. Participants will receive cheat sheets on the bodywork techniques to keep for reference.
There will be three workshop segments (spread over two days), including:
- autonomic and central nervous systems, both energetically and functionally
- Chakra system complexity and its relationship to anatomy and physiology
- information about and examples of:
- Elements and Energetics related to food and exercise (the Vitality Drink, Polarity Tea, and Stretching Exercises)

In this workshop, Linda will share proven techniques to guide your postpartum clients through this period. She will also address the current birthing culture in Canada, and how it may impact the post-birth experience.
You will learn reflexology and acupressure techniques/points specifically targeting postpartum challenges a client may face. Your skilled and caring hands can help ease your client through this transition into parenthood.

Integrated Orthopedic Assessment and Treatment: Neck, Shoulder, Lower Back and Knee

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn injury assessment testing, friction therapy, myofascial, and deep tissue techniques to address pain and injury in some of the most injured structures in the neck, shoulder, low back, and knee.
You will learn the anatomy of these structures by physically locating and palpating each muscle, tendon attachment, and ligament targeted with these techniques. The instructor will be with you every step of the way, placing your finger on every commonly injured structure.

The Art and Science of Face Reading for Assessment
